We’re pleased to announce our first documentary: Making it in New York!

The Tech City News team spent a week interviewing members of New York’s tech community, some British, some American, about why New York has become a strong contender as a base for US expansion.

We have produced a documentary examining what’s hot in New York, the challenges of expansion and the advantages of a British edge in North American

Why tech firms should be harnessing video to gain more customers

Featured in the video are entrepreneurs from Blippar and Glow both of whom started in London and have since set up offices in New York.

A number of the city’s tech establishment have also weighed in on the London v New York v Silicon Valley discussion.

We spoke to Rameet Chawla of Fueled Collective, as well as people from New York Tech Council, the Partnership Fund for NYC, ValueStream Labs, UKTI and General Assembly.

We hope you enjoy it!

This documentary is sponsored by JLL and Fried Frank.
