Show My Homework, an online homework platform, has raised £2.4m from LocalGlobe.

The platform, which is a software product by EdTech brand Satchel, enables teachers to set, assess and monitor homework, while allowing parents to keep track of their child’s progress.

Naimish Gohil, founder of Show My Homework, said: “Homework is a real friction point between parents, teachers and pupils but it shouldn’t be like that – it’s the only frequent interaction between all key stakeholders in schools but there are major issues due to lack of visibility and communication between all parties. Show My Homework puts an end to this uncertainty and shifts the focus back to the quality of work set and submitted.”

The London-based EdTech startup plans to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand into markets outside of the UK.

Robin Klein, founding partner of LocalGlobe, commented: “Satchel is at an exciting phase in its growth and is now one of the world’s fastest growing EdTech firms. This latest injection of cash will allow the firm to begin selling into international markets extending beyond its UK heartland.”
