Software sales expert supports company’s continuing global scale-up.

TestPlant, the world leader in digital service assurance and software test automation, has made a senior appointment to its Executive Board. Mark Finch takes up the role of VP Sales EMEA, managing direct and channel sales from TestPlant’s bases in London and Berlin. This is another appointment to support the company’s scale-up plans since the investment made by The Carlyle Group earlier in 2016.

Mark studied computer science and began his career in IT engineering before joining CA Technologies and moving from support to sales and sales management roles. Subsequently he has held leadership positions in sales, customer success and general management at OpenText and North Plains.

“Mark joins us at the perfect time to develop our plans in EMEA as we scale-up worldwide,” said TestPlant CEO, George Mackintosh. “TestPlant is very much at the vanguard of a new approach to providing the technologies which enterprises and IT services need to deliver digital service assurance on new customer experience platforms. Our eggPlant range of products makes software testing easier, cheaper and faster for our customers in retail, banking, entertainment and engineering. Mark knows his onions and he knows the ropes!”

“TestPlant has made a big impact in its market and, having personally experienced the benefits of quick ‘time-to-value’ across many industries, I’m looking forward to engaging with customers, prospects and partners to make a tangible difference to their businesses,” said Mark Finch, TestPlant, VP Sales EMEA.
