November funding roundup: UK tech investment falls 54%

November saw a 54% decrease in the amount of funding announced by UK tech companies. Some $73.5m (£59.4m) was raised across 18 rounds last month, compared with the $161.2m (£130.2m) raised in October, $70.91m (£53.8m) in September and $385.92m or (£294.96m) in August.

FinTech firm Nutmeg raises £30m in round led by Convoy

London-based digital wealth manager Nutmeg has raised £30m in the largest FinTech raise since Brexit. The firm has now attracted a total of £59.4m investment over the last five years, having raised $32m (£25.6m) in 2014 and £3.4m in 2012.

October funding roundup: UK tech investment tops £130m

October saw 25 UK tech companies announce new funding rounds, totaling $161.2m (£130.2m), according to the Tech City News UK Investment Tracker. This is significantly higher than the amount announced in September – $70.91m (£53.8m) – representing a 142% increase.
